About this tour
A same-day private journey to Agra — India’s crown jewel — with the Taj Mahal seen in the light you choose. Set out before dawn and stand at the gates as the sun rises, when the white marble takes on its most breathtaking glow; or leave at a comfortable hour and arrive in full daylight, when the monument stands radiant against the Agra sky. After the Taj, the tour continues to the majestic Agra Fort and the delicate Baby Taj, before a comfortable drive back to Delhi.

Pick up from anywhere in Delhi NCR
Pickup is available from any hotel, residence, or airport in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurgaon (Gurugram), Ghaziabad, or Faridabad — including Delhi (IGI) Airport, Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad, or Noida International Airport in Jewar. The earliest pickup time is 2:30 AM, which brings you to the Taj Mahal gates for sunrise after a 3.5-hour drive via the Yamuna Expressway. Otherwise you can choose any pickup time from 3:00 AM to 10:00 AM and arrive at the Taj Mahal in time for a relaxed daylight visit.
Sunrise Or Daylight — The Same Tour, The Same Price
This tour offers two ways to meet the Taj Mahal. For sunrise, choose the 2:30 AM pickup: you reach the gates as they open and watch the marble turn from soft gray to gold in the first light. For a daylight visit, choose any pickup time from 3:00 AM to 10:00 AM and arrive with the monument radiant under the full Agra sky. Whichever you choose, the itinerary, the private car, the guide, and the price remain exactly the same — simply tell us your preferred start at the time of booking.
Arrive in Agra — Meet Your Guide
Upon arrival in Agra, your private guide will greet you before the first monument and accompany you through the day’s sightseeing, sharing the stories and history of each site.
Visit the Taj Mahal
Marvel at the magnificent Taj Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. For sunrise visitors, the white marble glows in the golden morning light — one of the most breathtaking sights in the world. In full daylight, it stands radiant against the Agra sky, the inlay work and Persian gardens showing their full detail. Your guide shares the timeless story and helps you photograph the monument from each of its principal aspects.
A note on Friday visits:
If your only available date falls on a Friday, the tour still runs in full. The Taj Mahal interior is closed each Friday for prayer, so your guide takes you instead to the Yamuna riverside viewpoint, where the monument rises beautifully across the water. Agra Fort and the Baby Taj remain open as usual.
Meal Break
Stop for a meal at a restaurant of your choice (optional add-on) — breakfast or lunch, depending on your pickup time. Sunrise visitors typically stop for breakfast after the Taj Mahal, while later starts fit naturally with lunch. Choose from local multi-cuisine restaurants or premium 5-Star hotels in Agra.
Visit Agra Fort — UNESCO World Heritage Site
Explore the majestic Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Emperor Akbar in 1573. Walk through its grand courtyards, palaces, and halls, and enjoy a view of the Taj Mahal from its ramparts.
Visit Baby Taj — Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah
Also called the “Baby Taj” or Mini Taj Mahal, this exquisite monument was commissioned by Noor Jahan for her father Ghiyas Beg. Its delicate marble inlay work and Persian gardens are considered a jewel of Mughal architecture.
Fatehpur Sikri (Optional Visit)
Fatehpur Sikri is a beautiful UNESCO-listed Mughal city near Agra. It is offered as an optional add-on rather than a standard inclusion because the site requires a separate entry ticket, a shared shuttle bus from the parking lot, and a local government-approved guide — all of which add cost. Please request it at the time of booking if you would like to include this stop. The drive from Agra is approximately 1 hour each way, plus around 45 minutes visiting the site — approximately 3 hours in total added to the day.
Return Drive to Delhi
After sightseeing, relax during the 3.5-hour drive back to Delhi via the Yamuna Expressway. Drop-off is available at any hotel, residence, or airport in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurgaon (Gurugram), Ghaziabad, or Faridabad — including Delhi (IGI) Airport, Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad, or Noida International Airport in Jewar. Expected return: approximately 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM depending on your pickup time.
